Lazard Frères Gestion strengthens its fixed income expertise

In view of the development of its fixed income department, Lazard Frères Gestion is strengthening its bond management team with the recruitment of:

  • Eléonore Bunel as Head of Fixed Income management,
  • Alexis Lautrette as Fund Manager/Analyst for financial debt.

“Over the past three years, our assets under management have increased by over 25% for the bond management component. To give additional impetus to this growth, we are strengthening our resources with a dual objective: rounding out our expertise and adapting our offering to a context of rising interest rates,” explains Matthieu Grouès, Managing Director and Head of Institutional Management at Lazard Frères Gestion.

Eléonore Bunel, 39, is tasked with rolling out the bond range in order to anticipate changing demand in a context of rising interest rates. Under the responsibility of Matthieu Grouès, Mrs Bunel will oversee the fixed income team, which now has eight fund managers/analysts.

She spent more than 15 years as a fund manager/credit analyst in the Fixed Income department of AXA Investment Managers.

Eléonore Bunel holds a Master’s degree in Science and Techniques of Mathematical Models in Economics and International Finance from University Paris XIII.
